Description

The TeSys D contactors are expertly designed for seamless integration into control systems, making them ideal for creating motor starters across a wide range of applications. These contactors are available in 13 ratings for inductive motor applications up to 150 full-load amps and resistive loads up to 200 amps. 
This specific model is an 18A inductive 3-pole IEC contactor, capable of being mounted on a DIN rail or directly onto a panel. It supports both horsepower and kW motor ratings for international acceptance. The contactor is rated for 5HP at 200-208VAC, 5HP at 240VAC, 10HP at 480VAC, and 15HP at 600VAC for three-phase motors. Additionally, it supports 1HP at 115VAC and 3HP at 240VAC for single-phase motors.
When paired with a 480VAC circuit breaker up to 60A, the contactor can achieve a short-circuit current rating (SCCR) of up to 85kA. With a 600VAC 40A Class J or CC fuse, the SCCR can reach up to 100kA. The contactor comes with a 24 VAC 50/60 Hz coil and includes one normally open (NO) and one normally closed (NC) auxiliary contact, with the NC contact being mirror certified.
