Description

The TeSys LRD thermal overload relay is a robust and reliable device designed to protect 3-phase motors up to 15kW at 400V. It boasts a rating of 32A/690V and offers a thermal setting range of 23-32A, with a tripping class of 10A. The relay incorporates a differential device that effectively detects phase failure and load imbalance, ensuring the safety and stability of your motor systems.
For ease of use and flexibility, the relay features a thermal adjustment dial and a manual-automatic reset selector. It also includes a test selector for simulating tripping events, as well as reset and stop buttons, a flag indicator, and two auxiliary contacts (1NO+1NC) for fault signaling. The settings are securely protected by a transparent, lockable cover that can be sealed for added safety and security.
Connection to the relay is straightforward, thanks to the EverLink BTR screw terminals, which allow for direct connection to the bottom terminals of 3-pole contactors LC1D40A-D80A. The relay can be mounted on a DIN rail or screw-fixed, separately from the contactor, using a terminal block (LAD96560, sold separately).
With multi-standard certification (IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC, Marine) and compliance with Green Premium (RoHS/REACH), the TeSys LRD thermal overload relay offers a combination of performance, reliability, and environmental sustainability.
