The TeSys LRD thermal overload relay is designed for protecting 3-phase motors up to 5.5kW at 400V. It features a rating of 13A/690V, with a thermal setting range of 9-13A and a tripping class of 10A. The relay comes equipped with a differential device that detects phase failure and load imbalance.
For easy configuration, it includes a thermal adjustment dial and a manual-automatic reset selector. Additionally, a test selector allows for the simulation of tripping, with reset and stop buttons, a flag indicator, and 2 auxiliary contacts (1NO+1NC) for fault signaling. The settings are securely protected by a transparent, lockable cover that can be sealed.
Connection is facilitated by EverLink BTR screw terminals, which allow for direct connection to the bottom terminals of 3-pole contactors LC1D40A-D80A. The relay can be mounted on a DIN rail or screw-fixed, separately from the contactor, using a terminal block (LAD96560, sold separately).
